詞源[編輯]

源自拉丁語 fastīdiōsus (「覺得噁心的，蔑視的，鄙夷的；讓人噁心的，令人厭惡的」)，源自fastīdium (「厭惡，噁心」)，可能因為*fastutidium，源自fastus (「鄙夷，傲慢，覺得反感」) + taedium (「反感」)。對比法語 fastidieux。
