[編輯]愛爾蘭語 dulachán,源自dubh (「黑的」) + 另一個詞(對比lucharachán (「妖精,矮人」)),[1]可能原為一個形容褐色皮膚或不高興的人的詞(對比姓氏Dullahan),後面這個詞只用來形容幽靈。[2]
