[编辑]源自古法語 mathematique,源自拉丁語 mathēmatica (“数学”),源自古希臘語 μαθηματικός (mathēmatikós, “关于所学之事物”),源自μάθημα (máthēma, “知识,学问,学习”)。代替了原来的古英語 rīmcræft。
