  • 這個詞所代表的三音節發音在這種拼寫被證明之前是流行的(參見 Richard Snary),但到了 19 世紀,它在標準語音中已經不再使用;進一步的非標準演化為 dixery,僅在標準英語使用者的詼諧用法中得到證實。[1][2]
