使用注意[编辑]

在部分地區（如英國）的官方用法中，trade union 的複數 trade unions 表示同一領域的不同工會：

The train drivers were divided between two trade unions.
火車司機分屬兩個工會。

而 trades unions 表示不同領域的工會：

There are hundreds of trades unions in England.
英格蘭有數百個工會。

不過實際上，兩種情況都經常用 trade unions。[1]
