起于1890–95年,源自意第绪语 חוצפּה (khutsph),源自Mishnaic 希伯来语 חֻצְפָּה (khutspá) ← חָצַף (khatsáf, “粗野无理”),源自亚拉姆语 חוצפא (ḥuṣpāʾ), חֲצַף (ḥaṣap, “粗野无理”)。
