詞源[編輯]
不詳,可能源自棄用詞中古英語 gawren (「盯着」),其詞源也不詳,但可能源自古諾爾斯語 gá (「看」)或gaurr (「粗人」)(原始印歐語 *gʰow-rós,源自*gʰew- (「怒」))[1][2]。對比英語 gaw。
