词源

不详，可能源自弃用词中古英语 gawren (“盯着”)，其词源也不详，但可能源自古诺尔斯语 gá (“看”)或gaurr (“粗人”)（原始印欧语 *gʰow-rós，源自*gʰew- (“怒”)）[1][2]。对比英语 gaw。
