This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically. This template is used to display the headword-line of Chichewa nouns.
The template adds the entry to Category:齊切瓦語名詞. As with other Wiktionary part of speech templates, please do not use subst:.

The following parameters are available:
| Parameter | Function |
| 1 | The headword, which should have acute accents on syllables with underlying tone and ŵ for w as appropriate. (See WT:ANY.) |
| 2 | The class. Give the class of the singular unless the noun is only plural (like mankhwala). For nouns in classes 1a or 9 that take a plural in class 6, give the class as 1a/6 or 9/6. |
| 3 | Plural form override if the plural cannot be generated automatically. Use - if there is no plural form.
